Magnolia

Although Magnolias originate from China, this well-known plant also spread from North, Central and South America as well as Asian countries such as India, Korea and Japan. The Magnolia has become a well-known feature in our spring landscape. In early spring, these shrubs and trees flower in abundance in beautiful white/yellow or red/purple/pink. The shape of the flowers can differ per variety, from wide to narrow petals. Furthermore, the Magnolias flower before they develop leaves. Their greatest ornamental value is during flowering. The period during which the Magnolia carries berries and/or aggregate fruit adds to its visual attractiveness.

The Magnolia is available in various sizes; from 30 cm to a height of 5 metres! You can restrict their growth by pruning them.
